DELHI TWP. — An expansion at Molded Plastics Industries, a manufacturing company founded almost 50 years ago in Holt, was one of three celebrated last week by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Michigan Economic Development Corporation officials.

National Composites Employee Spotlight – Rick Grise
Rick Grise born in a small town in Indiana. However his father worked on refineries all over the world and Rick landed in 9 different schools by the eighth grade. He met up with many different cultures which helped to shape his ability to work with people from all different backgrounds.

National Composites believes in automation. So much so that we have already installed two new trim cells into our plants and have three more trim cells and three robotic sprayers on the way.

A New Era – American Recreational Products
In June of 2022, National Composites announced their intention to build a new plant in Fenton, Michigan. American Recreational Products (ARP), a division of National Composites selected the location for easy access to major highways and railways as well as the talent laden workforce in the area.

FENTON, MI — American Recreational Products plans to open a new facility with a fiberglass product line in Fenton, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced Monday, June 13.
ARP, a subsidiary of National Composites, which manufacturers composites and plastics for companies including John Deere, Navistar, Crest Marine, and Avalon Pontoons, has three locations in Michigan, including one in Owosso, and employs more than 150 residents.
